There is an item on Facebook, "Five Famous People I've Met", and it got me to thinking about all the celebrities that I've met - all the time spent hanging around stage doors. So, I have tried to make a list of everyone. I'm sure I've forgotten SOMEONE. I should turn this into a series of "Celebrity" and tell my stories about who was nice and who was not, etc.

Natural Beauty

I love this picture of Jane Fonda. She posted it on her own blog about a month ago when she wrote about her vacation to Ecuador and the Galapgos Islands with family. I think it shows the natural beauty of a 71 year old woman, and illustrates that she has such confidence to post this photo since she has always been in the business where appearance, youth and beauty are everything.

I have enjoyed reading her blog daily. She started it earlier in the year when she went back to Broadway after a 40 year absence to document her daily experiences and the process of doing a show on Broadway. Since her show has closed, her blog may not be as active with showbiz tidbits, but she always gives an inside look to whatever she is doing.

All About Bette

Last night, we went to see a play at Theatre Three, "All About Bette", which was a one-woman show about who-else, Bette Davis. It had played here last year to great success, so the author re-worked it and Theatre Three gave it another run. The reviews this time have been good and there is talk about it going to Broadway. I'm surprised at that since the play lacks dramatic structure and the ending is very awkward and needs to be thrown out and rewritten. The actress, Morgana Shaw is good and walks that fine line between impersonation and truly acting the person/character. It was a fun night out - something DIFFERENT at last!
